3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Other Users (Controlled and Limited)

  • Provider profile data (name, photo, services, rates, credentials): visible ONLY to Clients who have saved that Provider in their Providers Orbita. Never publicly searchable. Never visible to strangers.
  • Orbita recommendations: a Client may share a Provider recommendation with members of their Friends Orbita, either proactively or in response to a request. Anti-spam controls apply. The recipient always chooses to accept, ignore, or decline — no Provider is ever automatically added to another user's directory without their affirmative action.
  • Service Requests: request details shared only with Providers in the requesting Client's private Providers Orbita.

3.2 With Infrastructure and Service Providers

We share information with qualified, certified third-party infrastructure providers to operate the Platform. We make every reasonable effort to partner exclusively with platforms that maintain industry-standard security certifications and data protection practices. However, we cannot guarantee and are not liable for security incidents, data breaches, or unauthorized access that occur within third-party systems beyond our reasonable control.

  • We do not sell, share, or disclose your mobile phone number to any third party, affiliate, or partner for marketing, promotional, or any other commercial purpose

  • We do not share Provider client data with any other Provider
  • We do not share Friends Orbita relationship data publicly

  • Server-side API keys never exposed to client-side code
  • Access controls limiting staff access to personal data
  • Exclusive use of qualified, certified third-party infrastructure providers

No security system is impenetrable. 7. Children's Privacy and COPPA

YourOrbita is explicitly an 18+ platform and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any person under the age of 18.

YourOrbita actively screens for age at account creation by requiring users to provide their date of birth. Accounts where the calculated age is under 18 are blocked from creation. This active screening mechanism demonstrates that the Platform is not directed at children and that we take steps to prevent minors from accessing it.

If we learn or have reason to believe that an account belongs to a person under 18, that account will be terminated and associated personal data will be deleted promptly. If you believe a minor has created an account on YourOrbita, please contact us at privacy@yourorbita.com.

Because the Platform is explicitly 18+ and not directed at children under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) does not apply to YourOrbita's collection of information. The birthdate collection is our active mechanism for demonstrating this compliance posture.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. The Effective Date at the top of this policy indicates when the current version was last updated.
